"The Ballad of Birmingham" Paragraph

The poem “The ballad of Birmingham " by Dudley Randall really bothered me. It bothered me just because she was an innocent little African American girl in the right place at the wrong time. It makes me upset because she wasn’t the only little girl who died three others did also. "No, baby, no, you may not go,
For I fear those guns will fire.
But you may go to church instead
And sing in the children's choir. It’s said that a little girl can’t walk around her town or go to her own church because guns might fire or you might get lynched because your skin is darker than others. The world we live in today is really sad. I’m happy we had our civil rights movement and things changed.
