Historical Approach Paragaph

Understanding history can help readers a lot while learning in school, reading a newspaper articles and so many others. For example if you want to become a geographer you must know all your facts about history. This shows that people are willing to take time and study all the things that needs to known. Now that I understand history I will pass most of with an “A” or a “B” no lower than that. I will also understand what is going on in the situation a lot better. History is not my favorite subject but I understand it a lot more than what I use too.

“American History” Experience with Discrimination

When I was 11 years old my casa took me out to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. I asked my waiter for shrimp fried rice and water and he told “you know there’s a soul food place down the street you know?” I was really upset and offended because most black people I know eat soul food and he only said it to me. He laughed as he walked away with our order. I told my casa that I didn’t appreciate what he said and I would like an apology so she asked to speak with his manager and told him the situation. The waiter didn’t say sorry so me and my casa left. It made me pretty angry because I didn’t know adults could be so harsh to kids. Later on that mouth we went back and found out that the guy was fired. We felt that justice was served.

“American History” Memorable Day Paragraph

When I was 14 I was enrolled to a P.E.T program. (Pre employment traineeship) I had to work at a preschool with kids who where like three, four, and five. When I first started working there I hated it because one of the kids threw my phone in the toilet, but later on I learned to like it. I had to work there for eight weeks Monday through Friday for four hours. I didn’t like that idea because it was during summer and I wanted to hang out with my friends. I worked most of the summer but in the end I was happy because it gave me something new to do and I got to help out little kids. I will always remember that day because when I finished the program I got a paycheck for one-hundred and ninety dollars out of two hundred!!
